I was excited these would look and function great, so I bought 6 colors. The price is good, and the function is great, so no regrets, but the fit doesn't look that great unless you have thick thighs. Most men don't unless they're overweight or regularly work out their legs at the gym.
What I mean is there's 3-4 inches (7-10 cm) of extra fabric between bottom of shorts in my leg. So medium baggy, not absurd like cargo shorts and a lot of long shorts, but nowhere close to form fitting. Remember, the closer the fabric fits to your body, the more muscular and sexy you look, and the inverse is also true. I thought these would be more like 2" of excess leg, not 4. Also the 5" leg inseam is about 1" longer than I think would look better.
Other than fit and look, I like them. Read the Size Guide, which says that if you want them to fit like they do on the model, go one size smaller if not sure. I did that with my 30 inch waist (thanks to eliminating viceral fat through a low carb diet and time restricted eating) by ordering the 28" waist, even though there's no way I'm a 28" waist, and they're correct, these fit better and still fit comfortably, as there's elastic waistband.
The colors look good. I like the look and function of the back and side pockets, and more. I guess the drawstring waistband limits where you can wear these, making them more athletic than casual wear, but overall good.
I also read the material comes from recycled plastic bottles, and I love that, given the terrible things happening to our metabolism (microplastics) and environment from the plastic packaging explosion since 1970s, and the obesogen, obesity and metabolic health explosion that resulted. And yet the fabric looks and feels great. And I assume the color won't fade like cotton and other natural fabrics.
I suggest they make a slimmer or athletic fit in addition to this more average fit. I realize I have thin legs, and am doing squats, lunges, etc. to build mass, but I have other shorts that look better on me per above explanation.
